Wow. After reading through, I would really like to believe that last item is an exercise in parody.
i.e. "Why not take 'they need to go back to the good old days; everything since has been rubbish' to an even further extreme and deride most of what people think of as 'the good old days' as rubbish, too? You call yourselves puritan reformers, ha! Your scripture is the very definition of decadent!"
Alas, though, the very best parody is so often unintentional…
Yeah, I just skimmed it but it definitely had a "stay off my lawn" vibe.
