- Suzanne Andora Barron uses comic books to teach creativity. What better way to spend several weeks in fifth grade?
- Stevanne "Dr. Toy" Auerbach talks about the positive aspects of children role-playing as superheroes. Despite misspelling "Iron Man" ands "Spider-Man", she has some great points and any adult who thinks children pretending to be superheroes is harmful is an idiot. Tie a towel around your neck and leap as many tall buildings as you can, I say!
- Jay Deitcher starts a series examining just how close The Thing was to Jack Kirby. I don't know where he's going with this, but I'm always up for more discussion about Kirby!
- Kit MacFarlane talks about Superman and whether he's an anachronism, or some writers just don't know how to write him well. (h/t Dan Peretti)
