Remember back in February how I highlighted Les McClaine's daily grading of Garfield? In reading today's Garfield, creator Jim Davis apparently decided to comment on his own strip in the same manner. It's unusually meta for the strip and refreashing to see so much honesty and self-reflection in a widely syndicated strip like this.
Either that or Davis was just trying to make a simple joke that I'm applying meta-textual significance to.
