- Speaking of which, I need to point to Flying Colors' special Mayan Apocalypse Aversion comic. It's not quite as charming as those old Hostess ads in comic books, but it's got some of the same flavor.
- Roy Thomas presents even more updates to Sean Howe's Marvel Comics: The Untold Story care Ken Quartto. It includes a mention (the first that I've seen) that Thomas working on a "humongous book on Stan Lee" for Taschen, who's known for publishing REALLY FRICKIN' HUGE books.
- Jon's Random Acts of Geekery presents good quality scans of Batmania #10 in it's entirety. Circa 1966.
- Jack Bertram relays how he obtained an original Jack Kirby sketch at the 1970 Comic-Con.

I try to be forgiving about a lot of people's beliefs, but I have NO idea how anyone in the 21st century can take this Mayan Apocalypse stuff seriously.
