I know a lot of people are averse to change, and Marvel is almost certainly going to catch some flak for the new FF costumes...
I like to think of myself as open to new ideas and directions, but that white is just a terrible choice. Might I suggest something a little more practical and interesting, but still keeping in mind BOTH the historic use of FF (and Spider-Man!) costumes as well as an eye on seeming new and updated...
Just my two cents.

I like your idea much better!!
I understand the sentiment, and like the 'Shopped image. At the same time I read Brevoort's statement about how the black-and-white is supposed to symbolize how the new FF are now viewing the world. I supposed the change was meant to be that big.
Man I'm glad I re-started my blogger blog! I would so crack on Marvel 4 giving the FF such putrid looking costumes, but since I'm thinking they're doing the same thing DC did by putting out that BatAzrael bs, I'll pass. ASs w/ BatAz, this FF design is surely so horrid because Marvel knows that this configuration of this group won't be around 4 that long!
Like the previous commentor, I 2 like your design much better than those "Anti-Venom costumes they're wearing here. U've got interesting stuff here...enough so that I've subsribed 2 your rss feed. Looks like I might be dropping by from time 2 time. Good stuff, man!
I find myself unable to form an opinion about these costumes, I think because they're just so different. I don't know if I've ever seen superhero costumes break from tradition to such an extent, and I respect them a lot for that. I suspect this is why so many comics fans, a group notably adverse to change, is having such a hard time with them. They evoke a 50's "World of Tomorrow" vibe, which gels with the FF for me.
This is the biggest thing since Malibu Stacy's new hat!
Why is The Thing wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt?
Like your alternative version of the FF costumes better, although they do remind me a bit of Tron! I have mixed feelings about the new direction.
I don't know why Marvel can't keep the Fantastic Four name. I seem to recall during the 80's they had five members (The Thing, She Thing, Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman and the Human Torch) but where still called the Fantastic Four.
