Unless Jim Davis has been living an exceedingly lavish lifestyle (or invested everything he had with Bernie Madoff), I can't quite picture him feeling much of a financial pinch. :)
(Granted, I know he has worked with others on the Garfield strip; they might actually notice the recession. Jim though, probably not so much.)
