The following conversation took place in a New England comic book shop recently and was relayed to me by my brother this weekend...
"Excuse me? I was wondering if you help me out?"
"I'll certainly try. What do you need?"
"Well, I've got this list of things I'm looking for, and I was wondering if you had any of them."
"Let's see your list... Hmmm, that's funny. Where'd you get this list from?"
"I printed it from online. Why?"
"Well, it kind of looks like the same design as this one Fantastic Four web site, FFPlaza."
"Yeah -- it's the same guy."
"Er... why are you looking to buy something for him?"
"He's my brother."
"Holy crap! Really?"
Heh heh. I'm not sure which I enjoy more: that my work can actually be recognized like that, that I'm recognized in any capacity relating to comic books, or that I was recognized as a comic book celebrity (however minor) to my brother.
Ultimately, the shop did not have any of the items on my list (no real surprise, since some of the stuff is pretty obscure) but my brother did get an extended conversation on the difference between a Marvel Selects Uatu action figure and the Bowen Designs Uatu bust. Not that my brother cared that much, but you know how fanboys can get!

So I went to FFPlaza to check it out and read your comments about not updating it anymore.
I totally understand where you are coming from about the current state of Marvel's FF.
What do you think of the Millar/Hitch announcement?
Sean,
I've got to admit that's pretty awesome.
CVB -- I have to admit that I'm ambivalent about the Hitch/Millar announcement. I like Hitch and think the book will look great, but Millar's handling of the FF in Civil War and Ultimate Fantastic Four completely missed the mark, as far as I'm concerned. I think he's a decent writer, mind you, but I don't think he has a real understanding of the FF from what I've seen.
DTG -- There was another story a couple years back when my brother got another dose of "Hey, your brother does that web site?" when a co-worker wore a Fantastic Four tie to work one day. Now, I just need the rest of the comic book industry to recognize my awesomeness. :)
