I've got a graphic design background, so I'm pretty familiar with design tools like Photoshop. But it's interesting, to me at least, to watch how other people work and use the program in a way not dissimilar (but not quite the same) as I do....

Thanks for that Sean, it was interesting to see someone else colour using digital media.
I've illustrated on and off for years, but only on 'paper' - never been able to afford the sort of kit this guy has.
It has made me more determined to save up though - those screens / digital tablets look fantastic!

My pleasure, Gary. I haven't had the chance to play with anything like that tablet set-up Steve has, but it sure looks like a lot of fun, eh?
You might also be interested in Kevin Tinsley's book, Digital Prepress for Comic Books. It's from 1999 so it's probably a little dated in some aspects, but the basic pre-press operations, I believe, are the same.
